Managing Director
Andrew started his own company in 1992 which later evolved into St Edmundsbury Wealth Management. Andrew has been in business for thirty years and values St Eds for its reputation for being a trusted, friendly partner for all its clients’ financial planning needs.
In his spare time, Andrew is the President of Thurston RUFC and enjoys watching Rugby, Cricket and Formula 1. Andrew is also a Trustee of the Suffolk Philharmonic Orchestra and plays an active role in local Politics.
Sales Director
Russell is a Director at St Eds having joined as a Paraplanner in 2007. He enjoys working with the fantastic team at St Eds and although it is a serious job, he enjoys how it is a happy and fun place to be. He enjoys building strong client relationships and takes enormous satisfaction in helping to achieve their financial goals.
Outside of work he enjoys golf, F1, cooking on his BBQ and spending time with friends and family.
Financial Adviser – Chartered ALIBF
Simon is a Chartered Financial Adviser having started working with St Eds in October 2013. Simon enjoys providing clients with a holistic, personalised service and helping them reach their financial goals. In his spare time, he enjoys F1 (particularly following Lando Norris) and supporting (and occasionally plays for) Thurston Rugby Club.
Chartered Financial Planner
Ben is a Chartered Financial Planner and has been at St Eds since 2009.
Ben’s favourite thing about working at St Eds is the professionalism of the firm and the good people who genuinely offer support and help in a constructive way. His interests outside of work include spending time with his family, weightlifting, computer games and keeping abreast with politics and current affairs.
Financial Adviser – Chartered ALIBF
Chris is a Chartered Financial Adviser having gained Chartered Status in 2021. Prior to joining St Eds and a career in financial services, Chris worked as a teacher. Chris says his favourite things about working at St Eds are the genuine sense of togetherness across the company, the willingness of his colleagues and that professional qualifications are actively encouraged. Outside of work, Chris enjoys playing five aside football, golf and tennis as well as supporting his children with their rugby and football teams at the weekend.
Financial Adviser
Chris has been working at St Eds for 10 years, having previously worked with ASL Financial Planning which merged with St Eds at the beginning of 2012. Chris enjoys working with a team of friendly colleagues who’re enthusiastic about their work. Outside of work, Chris enjoys walking, gardening and travelling.

Graham is a Financial Adviser and has been working at St Edmundsbury Wealth Management for the past 12 years.
After leaving the inflexible, impersonal corporate world of high-street banking, Graham decided to join a client-focused company where he was able to offer a bespoke personal service to existing and new clients.
Graham enjoys the client-focussed ethos of St Edmundsbury, and having achieved the SOLLA accreditation many years ago, has helped many clients and their families navigate through the financial challenges of later life.
Graham’s interests outside of work include watching motorsport, classic cars, spending time with his family and reading anything by Peter James.
Financial Adviser
Tony is one of our financial advisers and has been working for St Eds for over seventeen years.
Tony has been working in the Financial Services industry since leaving college in 1986. He initially joined the St Edmundsbury Wealth Management team in 2001 before leaving to join another firm in 2007. He then returned in 2011 and has been part of the team ever since. Tony says the firm has always concentrated on developing a team environment, where everyone is happy to assist each other in driving forward to achieve the best outcome for our clients.
Outside of work he enjoys playing golf, sailing and spending time with his family.
Client Account Manager
Poppy is one of our Client Account Managers and joined St Eds in July 2019.
Prior to joining St Eds, Poppy worked in customer service in the hospitality industry and was keen to build on this experience. She enjoys the brilliant team relationship and great work ethic of everyone at St Eds.
In her spare time, Poppy enjoys visiting Austria for her annual ski trip, socialising with her friends and family as well as walking in the countryside with her Italian Greyhound, Dino!
Paraplanner
Whilst completing a degree in Business and Management, Ben was keen to gain industry experience and started working with us in July 2020. Ben enjoys working closely with Chartered Financial Advisers, which he says has helped him learn and progress in his own career. Outside of work, Ben’s a keen golfer and can often be found cooking pizza in his Ooni oven and following Newcastle United.

Caroline is a Client Account Manager and joined St Eds in June 2021. She enjoys the mutual respect across all colleagues at St Eds and everyone’s willingness to help one another. Her interests outside of work include managing two holiday lets and getting involved with a community garden project within a local park.

Gemma is one of our Client Account Managers.
Gemma loves the company’s morals and standards, and enjoys working with a fantastic team. Gemma’s interests include spending time with family, friends and their three cats. She enjoys going to the gym, outdoor adventures and travelling. She has a long bucket list!

Jamie is a Client Account Manager and joined St Eds WM after his travels and studies in Economics at Nottingham University in 2022.
Jamie’s favourite aspect of working at St Eds WM is the individual value and support within the team, fostering both personal and collective growth. Outside work, he enjoys playing football for his local team, Thurston, hitting the gym, watching sports, and spending time with family and friends.
Client Account Manager
Ben joined St Eds in September 2023, bringing over five years of experience supporting financial advisers in Bury St Edmunds. His journey to St Eds followed a career break and a stint at a local preparatory school.
Outside of work, Ben leads a local Iron Maiden-themed darts team. He is a passionate follower of live sports, comedy, and music events, often turning these interests into enjoyable staycations. As an ardent Arsenal fan, he not only enjoys watching football but also seeks adventure, evidenced by his 14,000-foot skydive. His colleagues also know him for his unique style, particularly his penchant for wearing waistcoats.

Katy joined St Eds in May 2023, transitioning from her previous role when her employer decided to retire and sell the business.What Katy loves most about St Eds is the fantastic group of colleagues she works with. They create a welcoming and collaborative environment that she cherishes.
Outside the office, Katy enjoys spending quality time with her family and her dog Murphy, exploring the countryside. She also has a passion for swimming and loves socialising with friends.
Client Account Manager
Julie embarked on her journey with St Eds in April 2023, bringing a rich background from various sectors including airlines and software. Her interest in financial services, especially wealth management, stems from its intersection with many facets of life, allowing her to leverage her extensive experience.
Outside of work, Julie is an avid equestrian, actively participating in amateur dressage competitions with her horse. She is also the proud owner of two lively sausage dogs, enjoying walks in the stunning local countryside.
Client Account Manager
Thomas joined the St Eds team in July, keen to develop his career in financial services with a company that’s at the heart of the local community.
He’s particularly impressed by St Eds’ dedication to supporting local initiatives, something that resonates strongly with him.
Away from the office, Thomas spends his time on the golf course or enjoying a game of rugby. He’s also quite the history buff and likes to keep up-to-date with current affairs.
Operations Manager
As the Operations Manager, Sue ensures the smooth functioning of the office. Sue joined the Company in May 2009. Sue looks after the general running of the business including accounts, payroll, contracts, IT and ensuring that we comply with our regulatory obligations.
Sue enjoys the values and ethos at St Eds which make it an enjoyable place to work. She enjoys organising the team events; the Christmas party night and other sporty/fun teambuilding events throughout the year. Outside of work, Sue is a keen baker and enjoys making celebratory cakes for special occasions, she even sometimes brings them in for the office to enjoy.
Office Manager
Sarah is the Office Manager at St Eds and has been with the company since 2000.
Sarah says she enjoys how varied her role is and that she also appreciates being part of a hardworking team who have the client’s best interests at heart.
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her children, going to the gym and baking.
